Indirect Speech is used to report something in our own words.
The given example is an example of Interrogative Questions. Indirect speech is formed by using 'ask' + question word + clause.
The clause will have the question, in normal word order and with the necessary tense change. In this case, the simple present tense is given in clause. It would be changed to simple past tense.
Indirect speech would be - Jack asked me why I didn't go away for a few weeks,
Thus, option C is the correct answer according to the rules.
