Options B and D are correct as both mean the same intransitive verb. The verb fought means more than one person fought against another. Choice D is correct as the sentence clearly says two people or teams fought each other. Option a is incorrect as the preposition 'at' is not necessary. Option C is incorrect as the preposition 'in' is not necessary. Hence B and C are correct options.
