Wee have:
3[abcd]=[a612d]+[4a+bc+d3].
[3a3b3c3d]=[a+4a+b+6c+d12d+3]
Now, comparing both matrices we get:
3a = a + 4  ⇒   2a = 4 ⇒ a = 2        ....(i)
3b = a + b + 6
putting a = 2 we get:
3b – b = 2 + 6 ⇒ 2b = 8 ⇒ b = 4    ....(ii)
3c = c + d – 1 ....(iii)
3d = 2d + 3 ⇒ d = 3      ...(iv)
putting the value of d in equation (iii) we get:
3c = c + 3 – 1 ⇒ 2c = 2 ⇒ c = 1
Hence, a = 2, b = 4, c = 1 and d = 3
