conservation of charge in system-1

5 (y – 0) + 10 (y – 20) + 10 [(y + 20) – 20] + 5 [(y + 20) – (–10)] = 0

y =53 V

conservation of charge in system - 2

5 [ (x + 20) – 0] + 10 [(x + 20) – 10] + 5 [x – 10] + 10 [x – (– 10)] = 0

x = –253V

Thus VA – VB =53−(–253)=10 volts

2N = 10 ⇒ N = 5
