Given

P (A) = \frac{3}{5}

P (B) = \frac{1}{5}

since A and B are mutually exclusive,

so,P(A

B) = 0

Now,

P (A o r B) = P (A \cup B)

we know that

P (A \cup B) = P (A) + P (B) - P (A \cap B)

putting values

P (A \cup B) = \frac{3}{5} + \frac{1}{5} - 0

\Rightarrow P (A \cup B) = \frac{4}{5}

Hence

P (A o r B) = \frac{4}{5}
