Solution
Given, P(E∪F) = 0.8, P(E∪F) = 0.3 and P(E) = 0.5
Since, P(E∪F) = P(E) + P(F) − P(E∩F)
⇒ 0.8 = 0.5 + P(F) − 0.3
⇒ 0.8 = 0.2 + P(F)
⇒ P(F) = 0.6
∴ Option A is correct.
