For the domain of  f(x)

f (x) = cos–1 (1x1)+tan1(2x1)
f (x)|min = f (14) = cos–1(1) + tan–1 (21)=0+π8=π8
f (x)|max = f() = cos–1 (–1) + tan–1 ()=π+π2=3π2
Range of  f(x) is [π8,  3π2)
