Let breadth of the room is b = x m

then according to the question its height

h = $\frac{x}{2}$ m.

and length ℓ = 2x m

Volume of the room ℓbh = 512 m³
⇒ x × $\frac{x}{2}$ × 2x = 512

x³ = 512

x = 8 m

Now length ℓ = 2x = 2 × 8

= 16 m
