Step-1: Assume3,+5 as rational number.

               ,3,+5,=ab,where a and b are co - prime numbers and b0

               on squaring both side we get,

               (3,+5)2=(ab)2

               3+5+235,=a2b2

               8+215,=a2b2

               215,=a2b28

               15,=a28b22b2

               a and b are integer then a28b22b2 is a rational number

               Then,15 is also a rational number

,Step-2: Prove the given satement.

               This contradicts the fact that 15 is a irrational number.

               This contradiction has arisen due to the wrong assumption,that  3,+5 is a rational number.

  Hence, 3 + 5 is an irrational number.
