The two clauses in the sentence are he was impressed by the beauty of the statue, and, he felt like falling down to his knees to worship it, joined together by the conjunction so that. As displayed in Option B, the sentence establishes the sequence in which the events take place in a way that it makes complete sense. Thus, Option B is the correct one.
