We are given that P(AB)=0.6, and P(AB)=0.2.
We know that if A and B are any two events, then
P(AB)=P(A)+P(B)P(AB)
or 0.6=1P(Aˉ)+1P(Bˉ)0.2
or P(Aˉ)+P(Bˉ)=20.20.6=1.2.
