'Nevertheless' is used to indicate that the second point made contrasts with the first point or a condition.
'Beside' means by alongside or near. 
'Yet' is used to mean nevertheless or however. It carries a sense of negation.
'Anyway' is used when something is done without regard to what happens. 
The given sentence can be completed by using 'nevertheless' as the contrast is shown though they are opponents but united by the freemasonry of the acting profession. 
Thus, option B is the correct answer.
