Distance from the origin=x2+y2+z2

Distance from (2,3,–1) is 22+32+(1)2=4+9+1=14
Distance from (–3,2,1) is (3)2+22+12=9+4+1=14
Distance from (2,2,2) is 22+22+22=8
Distance from (1,2,–1) is 12+22+(1)2=1+4+1=6
6;8;14
Thus (1,2,–1) is nearest point from the origin.
