404 = 2 × 2 × 101
LCM (96 and 404 ) = 25 × 3 × 101 = 9696
HCF ( 96 and 404 ) = 22 = 4
Verification :
HCF × LCM = 9696 × 4 = 38784
product of given numbers = 96 × 404 = 38784
⇒ HCF × LCM = Product of given numbers
