What is ZEST?
The Zigyan Entrance cum Scholarship Test (ZEST - Quest for Excellence) is Zigyan's flagship exam that identifies, rewards, and nurtures talent. Designed for Class VIII to XI students (moving to Class IX-XII in 2025), ZEST gives students the chance to earn scholarships up to 100% and secure admission into Zigyan’s top programs.

What is the Zigyan Scholarship-cum-Admission Test (ZEST)?
ZEST is Zigyan’s scholarship & entrance test for students in Classes VIII–XII. It’s designed to grant eligible students full or partial scholarships, along with access to free resources, coaching, & support.
Who is eligible to sit for ZEST?
Students studying in Class VIII, IX, X or XI are eligible. Both new students and current Zigyan students may apply.
What scholarship amount or benefits can I get through ZEST?
Based on the performance in ZEST, students may receive scholarships ranging from partial to 100% tuition fee waiver. Additional benefits may include free study material, online tests, offline classes, & sample papers.
What is the exam pattern & syllabus of ZEST?
The exam is subject-wise depending on your current class. It includes Mathematics, Science, English (and higher level subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology as per class) with a mix of MCQs and short/long answer questions. Duration and detailed syllabus will be made available on the website/download link.
How do I register for ZEST and what is the fee?
Registration is done via the Zigyan website on the Scholarship page. You’ll need to pay a registration/exam fee (e.g. ₹ 200). After payment, you will receive your admit card/sample paper link or further instructions via email/SMS.
What are important dates I should know?

How will I receive my result & scholarship details?
Results will be announced online on the Zigyan website and/or communicated via email/SMS. Scholarship details (percentage, waiver, etc.) will depend on your test score and rank.
Can I apply if I’m not residing in Faridabad?
Yes, students from other cities can apply. However, participation in offline classes (if offered) may be limited to the Faridabad centre.
Do I need to attend the coaching/lectures in person or is there online option?
Depending on your scholarship outcome, you’ll get access to online resources (lectures, tests). For certain batches, offline classes may also be available.
What happens if I miss the registration deadline?
Late registrations are generally not accepted. Please keep track of deadlines and complete registration in advance.
Is there any sample question paper or past paper available?
Yes. Sample papers / past years’ test papers will be provided to registered students to help with preparation.
