In  DAB, tan θ=64d



⇒    d=64 cot θ                   ...(i)

In  CDE, tan90°-θ=(100-64)d

⇒    d=36 tan θ                   ...(ii)

From Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get

d2=36×64    d=48 m
