As ball has to travel in x – z plane in ground frame.
time of flight = 40 / 10 = 4 sec.
velocity along z -axis is zero at time of collision i.e. at t = 4 sec.
v = u + at
⇒ 0 = vz –10 t ⇒ vz = 40 m/s
∴ | vx | + | vy | + | vz | = 10 + 10 + 40 = 60
