A soft ball is thrown at an angle of α = 60° above the horizontal. It lands a distance d = 2m from the edge of a flat roof, whose height is h = 20 m ; the edge of the roof is ℓ = 38 m from the thrower (see fig.). At what speed (in m/s) was the softball thrown?
