b"'Sleeping countryside' in the previous line represents the present continuous form. Therefore following line too should be in the present continuous form.

Present continuous is formed by using the base verb + ing, therefore option D 'flying' is the correct answer.
'is' is not used with first person subjects, also 'are' is used with plural subjects. Therefore A and B are incorrect.
'Flew' is the past form of 'fly' and cannot be used in the sentence. 
Option D is the correct answer.
