(b) Glucose present in the blood plasma enters the nephron during the filtration process and after passing through the glomerulus the filtrate enters the renal tubule. Reabsorption occurs in the renal tubules where glucose and other nutrients, water etc diffuse out of the renal tubules and enter the surrounding capillaries

These reabsorbed substances such as glucose and other nutrients are sent back to the bloodstream.
