The first clause of the sentence, 'I get up early in the morning' is in simple present tense. It denotes a habitual activity of the speaker. The second part of the sentence i.e ' and so _____ my sister' indicates that both the verbs in the sentence are similar in meaning. Both the verbs belong to the same tense i.e simple present tense.
Option A: The verb in the phrase, '..so, did my sister' is in simple past tense. As the first verb (action by the subject 'I') is in simple present tense, the second verb also follows the same pattern and cannot be in simple past tense. Hence, this option is incorrect.
Option B: The verb, 'has' means 'possesses' or 'experiences'. The first verb in the sentence talks about getting up early in the morning. As the phrase, 'and so' is used, the second verb also should denote a similar activity. However, the verb 'has' conveys a meaning, which is different from the earlier verb i.e 'get up early in the morning. Hence, this is not correct.
Option C: The sentence, 'I get up early in the morning and so is my sister' is not correct. This is because, the first talks about getting up early in the morning. The second verb cannot denote 'being'. It has to indicate a similar activity. Hence, this option is incorrect.
Option D: The sentence, 'I get up early in the morning and so does my sister' means" 'My sister also does the same' i.e 'My sister also gets up early in the morning'. Both the verbs are similar and in the same tense i.e. simple present tense. Hence, this option is correct.
