A transitive verb is a verb that accepts one or more objects and an intransitive verb does not allow a direct object. In this particular sentence, the verbs are “punched”, “kicked”,  “screamed” and “came”. None of them are having a direct object and only the subject is present. Thus, these verbs are not transitive, instead all of them are intransitive.
