The cymose inflorescence is the type of determinate inflorescence in which the tip of the main axis terminates in a flower and further growth continues by one or more lateral branches which also behave like the main axis. In some plants, the terminal flower is subtended by two lateral branches which further ends in flowers, e.g. are Jasmine, Harsingar, Pink etc. Here the flowers are arranged in a basipetal manner i.e, the older one at the top and younger at the base.
The racemose inflorescence is the indeterminate type of inflorescence which shows indefinite growth and bears a number of flowers due to the presence of active growing point, e.g., are Radish, Lupin etc. Here the flowers are arranged in an acropetal manner i.e., older at the base while younger at the top.
So, the correct answer is "A - Racemose, B - Cymose".
