Given that,
John's age = Mohan's age &
Ram's age = Mohan's age.
Euclid's first axiom states that, things which are equal to the same thing, are equal to one another.
So, by the first axiom of Euclid, 
John's age = Ram's age.

Hence, Euclid's first axiom is applicable here.
