Fe3+ + [Fe(CN)6]4– → Fe4[Fe(CN)6]3 (prussian blue ppt. or solution)

Zn2+ + [Fe(CN)6]4– (excess) → K2Zn3[Fe(CN)6]2 [bluish white]

Ca2+ + [Fe(CN)6]4– → K2Ca[Fe(CN)6]¯ [white]

Cu+ + 2K+ + [Fe(CN)6]4– → Cu2[Fe(CN)6]¯ [chocolate brown]
