Question

Moment of inertia of a disc of inner radius a and outer radius b and having mass M about the axis perpendicular to its plane is (A0 ± B0 × 10–2) kg-cm2. Given M = (2 ± 0.02) kg, a = (5 ± 0.05) cm, b = (7 ± 0.07) cm. Find the value of  A0 + B0.

I2=M2(a2+b2)

ΔI2=M[aΔa+bΔb]+DM(a2+b22)

= A0 = 74, B0 = 222
