Krebs' cycle is a cyclic oxidation process in mitochondria that starts with the formation of citric acid. Isocitric acid (6C) when formed gets oxidized to oxalosuccinic acid by the action of isocitric dehydrogenase and reduction of NAD+ to NADH2 takes place. As there is no evolution of CO2, the oxalosuccinic acid is also a 6 carbon compound.

So, the correct answer is option C.
