Given data :
Average translation K.E of O2EO2 = 0.048 CV
Molar mass of O2 = 32
Molar mass of N2 = 28

To find:
Translational KE of N2EN2 = ?
from kinetic energy of gas

E=32KT

= Boltzmann constant

= Temperature

∴ ∝ T

Since the temperature is same for both oxygen and nitrogen

∴ EO2 EN2

EN2 = 0.048 eV

Hence option (C) is correct.
