The horizontal pipe shown in the diagram has a cross sectional area of 40cm2 at the wider position and 10cm2 at the narrow poriton. A liquid of specific gravity 1.6 is flowing in the pipe with volume flow rate equal to 5 × 10–3 m3/s. Find the difference in the heights h(in cm) between the mercury column in the manometer tube. (ρHg = 13.6 × 103 kg/m3)
