Solution

Given,
the radians of gyration of a body about an axis, passing through centre of mass

=24 cm

= 24 cm

 Distance = 7 cm.

∴ = 7 cm

Using parallel axis theory

I– md2

⇒  mkm2k– md

(24)= 2k– I2

  k1=242+72

=625

= 25 cm

D is the correct option.
