the radians of gyration of a body about an axis, passing through centre of mass

=24 cm

= K = 24 cm

Distance = 7 cm.

∴ d = 7 cm

Using parallel axis theory

I = I_C– md²

⇒ mk²= m²k₁– md²

⇒ (24)²= ²k₁– I₂

_{$\Rightarrow k_{1} = \sqrt{24^{2} + 7^{2}}$}

_{$= \sqrt{625}$}

_{= 25 cm}
