An inverted sentence happens when we reverse (invert) the normal word order of a structure, most commonly the subject-verb word order.
Option A is incorrect: The sentence has the normal word order, subject (I) + main verb (understood)  + object.
Option B is correct:  The sentence has the word order- Adverb + auxiliary verb (Have) + subject ( I ) + main verb (understood) + object + clause. The sentence has altered the normal word order.
Option C is incorrect:
The adverb 'never' is placed before the auxiliary. It should be placed after the auxiliary verb, 'have' (in the normal order).
Option D is incorrect: It's irrelevant.
